How Privex Pay works
Privex Pay operates as your Merchant of Record. This means Privex Pay sells products and services to your buyers in its own name. When a customer completes a purchase, they are transacting with Privex Pay. You receive the net proceeds after Privex Pay’s flat 10% fee is deducted. This model means Privex Pay takes on responsibility for:- Sales tax and VAT collection and remittance
- Chargeback disputes and fraud liability
- PCI DSS compliance and payment data security
Privex Pay charges a flat 10% fee per transaction. There are no monthly charges, setup fees, or hidden costs.
