Privex Pay supports all major credit and debit card networks, as well as the most widely used digital wallets. Every transaction is processed under PCI DSS Level 1 certification with 256-bit encryption and tokenization, regardless of the payment method your customer uses.

Cards

Visa

Credit and debit cards issued on the Visa network, including Visa Electron and Visa Debit.

Mastercard

Credit and debit cards issued on the Mastercard network, including Maestro debit cards.

American Express

American Express credit cards, including personal, business, and corporate cards.

Digital wallets

Apple Pay

Customers on iPhone, iPad, and Mac can pay using Face ID, Touch ID, or their device passcode — no card number entry required.

Google Pay

Customers on Android devices and Chrome-based browsers can check out with a single tap using their saved Google Pay credentials.
Digital wallets reduce checkout friction and can increase conversion rates, particularly on mobile. Both Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on payment links and API-powered checkouts.

Global card processing

Privex Pay processes card transactions internationally. Your customers can pay from anywhere in the world using a card issued on any of the supported networks. Currency conversion is handled automatically.
Supported currencies and any country-specific restrictions are listed in your merchant dashboard under Settings → Accepted currencies.

Security and compliance

All payment methods on Privex Pay are protected by the same security standards:
StandardDetail
PCI DSS Level 1The highest level of PCI compliance certification, covering all card data handling and storage
256-bit encryptionAll data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
TokenizationRaw card numbers are immediately tokenized — they are never stored or passed to you as the merchant
Because Privex Pay acts as your Merchant of Record, you are fully insulated from direct contact with card data. Privex Pay manages all compliance obligations on your behalf, including chargeback processing and fraud liability.
Do not attempt to collect or store card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment data through your own systems. Doing so violates PCI DSS and the Privex Pay Acceptable Use Policy.
